There is almost no place more famous to see a show than the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, CA. One of the venues that helped revolutionize the music industry and lead the way of the 80’s metal scene is the world famous Whisky A Go-Go. Even to this day the Sunset Strip is showcasing world touring bands, and some of the best local bands Southern California have to offer. While taking a break after a long tour, Isis Queen (Vocals) and Pyn Doll (Guitar) of Barbed Wire Dolls decided to create a side project called Royal Distortion. Providing the people of Hollywood with a showcase featuring some of the best up and coming local bands every Monday free of charge. The month of June Royal Distortion featured with them Beyond the Roots, We’re No Gentlemen, Earthsleep, and Vigil of War. Royal Distortion is continuing this free showcase into July featuring a new line up of bands every Monday.
